Linked List — General Science Edition

Alekhya Kundu

Linked List is a general science-based word game. The rules are straightforward.

  1. The goal is to guess eleven words that have been drawn from science.
  2. The first word (the seed) will be provided to you, and hints and number of letters will be provided for the remaining words.
  3. You are also informed that the first letter of any word is the last letter of the previous word. So the first letter of the second word will
  4. the last letter of the seed word, the first letter of the third word is the last letter of the second word, and so on.
  5. This property goes all the way, so that the last letter of the last (eleventh) word is also the first letter of the seed word.
As always, the cover image is a clue to the first word. Find all the words!

Seed Word: Nucleophilic

Next word should start with: c. Last word should end with: N.

The capacity to do work or produce change, appearing in forms such as kinetic, thermal, and electromagnetic energy.
The nutrient-rich core of an egg that provides energy and raw materials for early biological development.
The branch of physics that describes motion in terms of position, velocity, and acceleration, without considering forces.
Collections of interacting components whose overall behavior emerges from their mutual relationships.
A property of physical or mathematical systems that remain invariant under transformations such as rotation or reflection.
A positively charged ion of the element yttrium, commonly encountered in materials science and solid-state physics.
Interconnected structures used to represent relationships in fields ranging from biology and physics to computer science.
